Goa conjures up the gentle pleasures of life. The hospitality and warmth of its inhabitants, the mild climate, the lush tropical flora, the light and colors, the abundance of animal life … Everything combines to generate a creative environment. I always paint outdoors and in the natural light.

Gods and humans join hands in a sacred dance of life. I take free inspiration from this mythology, without claiming to create an authentic or traditional representation of it. The dream world and imagination lead the way.

I have loved animals since I was a child. I have always been fascinated by their lives and behavior. The animals I have encountered on my travels have naturally ended up in my artwork.
